The Professional Standards Course also includes access to the Professional Standards: Webcast Series, which features quarterly DOL rule updates on any changes and clarifications in the rule over the coming months.

Completion of this course will satisfy the ethics requirement of the Financial Services Certified Professional® (FSCP®) designation. This course is not currently eligible for state-approved continuing education credits.

Professional Standards: Webcast Series: $299

Moving beyond the cursory, this advanced Webcast Series will bring a practical discussion and in depth understanding to the Department of Labor's Conflict of Interest Rule. This is an informational content program with no assessment. Webcast topics include: prohibited transactions, exemptions to those transactions (BICE, 84-24), carve outs, a fiduciary standard and ways to incorporate this new standard in your business.

  • The first webcast will focus on the new rule, prohibited transactions and Q&A. Additional webcasts will tackle industry and consumer issues as the rule is shaped, challenged, and understood
  • The Webcast Series will run for one year; new webcast content to be delivered at least once per quarter
